Thanking God

Postby Sammy Boy » Wed Dec 12, 2007 8:37 pm

I just wanted to share with you my thanks to God.

I started studying theology in 2004 and finished the course a few weeks ago. Today I got my academic record in my mail and it indicated that I have gotten credits for most subjects, with the remainder being passes.

Many nights I stayed up till late, doing research and writing essays for my subjects. This was in addition to working full-time. My brains sometimes felt so tired.

Often I struggled with the idea of quitting, but if something is worth doing then it's worth becoming tired, sacrificing social time, etc.

I often struggled to grasp the various things being taught in classes. That I passed all my subjects is nothing short of God's Spirit empowering me with wisdom and energy.

Every subject's assignment and exam was an opportunity to experience God's grace.

Without Him I would have given up ages ago. I really thank God for taking me through theology class these four years. Though it was tough it was at the same time a wonderful experience.
