Request from a friend

I've never asked for prayer before but,.. a very good friend of mine sent me this. Good missionary friends of his who need prayer....

(((I am so sorry to say that things are not well. I just received a call from the missionaries (K and S) that are on furlough. The neurologist has come in and visited with the L. family along with the hospital chaplain. Jim has a tumor that has been classified as a glioma. It is a Grade 4 brain tumor. To put it simply, I am sorry to say, it is the absolute worst type of brain tumor possible to have. They have decided to forgo the biopsy and will be taking Jim to surgery, I believe tomorrow morning (Tuesday). They are going to immediately begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well. I am so sorry to be the bearer of this news. Please pray, pray, pray very hard for the entire family. I just spoke with Elaine about 15 minutes ago and she relayed to her that the children as of yet do not know about this. They boys are with one of the sets of grandparents and they have not been together long enough to explain the situation to them all.
Pray for the courage of Jim and Elaine as they discuss these life altering events with their children. The effects of this are so far reaching. God is, in fact, much larger than any of this and I know that He has special plans for this entire family. Let us just pray that He will reveal those things to this family at a time where it will bring peace to their lives. It will never remove the pain and hurt that they feel now but it does help them to know that people from one coast to the other are praying for them right now. Elaine did share that with me this morning that there is a great peace for her and an absolute amazement by her father (who only within the last 5 years accepted Christ at 70+ years old) that this many people from this many places would be praying for a family that they don't even know. Isn't God good? )))

Update:///// Surgery has been done and he is in ICU please help by prayer!!

In advance, Much appreciation!
